Rob and Kristi decorate, renovate, and relate

We are first time home-owners in the process of fixing up a modest 1950s Cape Cod house. We've taken on some serious projects like gutting and renovating the basement, installing custom closets, and refinishing hard wood floors. Though some of these projects are not yet complete, so far, we have done all the work ourselves.

Our design style

Our home is an evolving mix of both our styles. Rob likes: warm, traditional, rustic. Kristi likes: neutral, transitional, simple, minimalist design and natural textures.We believe you can create a beautiful home that that you love without going into debt. It just takes some patience, hard work, saving and planning, and occasionally compromise (which is not such a bad thing).
