Hi there.We're Rob and Kristi. We married in late 2008 and bought our first home shortly after. We started this blog to document our various house renovation and decoration processes, and it expanded to be a general creative outlet. We're having fun with our new home and definitely learning as we go. We are not professionals or experts, and we're also on a budget. (You can read about our saving and spending plan here.) But we do have a passion for home improvement and are willing to roll up our sleeves and get working.

Though we are contacted by agencies regularly, we not currently looking for advertisers or sponsorships. However we are open to the idea of giveaways for our readers. In order to provide the most helpful and honest information to our readers, we are only interested in giveaways of products or services that meet our personal standards. No amount of money would make us recommend a product we wouldn't use ourselves.
