Rob the recoverer

Several friends have emailed me asking how Rob is doing after his surgery on Friday morning. Thank you for your concern! He is doing a bit better now, though the first few days were pretty painful. Poor guy can't do much other than lay on the couch right now, but I think he's making the most of the situation (asking for lots of back and foot massages, etc.). He even used his wily post-surgery ways to convince me to let the dog sleep with us in our room last night. I said that would never happen. Ah well.
